The Beginning

We started Colorado K9 Cabins because we were tired of looking at our old, ugly, plastic kennel.  We were able to make a space big enough for both our dogs that doubled as an entertainment stand; which of course, was also beautiful and fit well with our home.

The Hideaway Cabin came to be because our oldest pup Deuce, needed a safe space that wasn’t a kennel.  When he would come to the point of needing a space to go it usually was under our end table in the living room (something our pup couldn’t fit under). Now we have a beautiful end table and a safe, comfortable space for Deuce.

We are so excited and proud to finally be able to share these amazing pieces with everyone who loves their pups as much as we love ours. Now you won’t have to give up valuable space or look at unsightly kennels or crates.

The Process

The outside of every cabin is made with a 5” wide tongue and groove premium pine, 1x3” and 1x4” smooth premium pine and 3/8” rebar.  Each cabin is framed with a 2x3” whitewood stud material to ensure a very sturdy cabin. *Tim weighs about 190lbs and can stand on even our smallest model with no strain to the cabin* Once the building part is complete, the cabin is stained to the color of your choice. Every cabin comes with a removable gray fatigue padding.

Each of our cabins has 1 to 2 standard sizes but if you see a model that you love and want a different size, contact us.  We are always willing to work with every customer to make the K9 cabin that’s perfect for their pet and their home.
